Batch Frame

HOW DO I CREATE A BATCH FRAME?  

I have about 40 images that I need to create a picture gallery for.... I want to resize them all (okay I can do that in PS3) then I just want to ad a frame on top to include two station logos. Is there a simple way to do this in Photoshop? I've tried actions and it just doesn't work. so basically, I want to do this as show in the below pictures...  I'm pretty sure I'm complicating it so any help, advice or knowledge of this would be appreciated!

Yahoo Sports Radio

So I know I said I was out of radio completely and next thing ya know, one month later I'm back in!  I've always said it's not about what you know, it's about who you know and I just reached out to a good friend to say hi and next thing you know, she offered me a job with Yahoo Sports Radio as their web master.  The good thing is, I'm  working from home and it's part time so it helps with a little extra income for me while I get my HCG business going.

I started yesterday and I'm excited about the opportunity to learn more about what I love doing and to get to do it from home is just AWESOME!  I've been going to church and I feel like my life is taking this turn right now for the better.  I actually like church!  I think it's about going when you're ready to take it all in.  I knew I was ready and I  now know that I'll continue going and not think twice about it.  They are simple lessons that clean your spirit and align you with God.  Sometimes the lines get blurred and we don't even realize it... I'm just grateful to say that God has given me great opportunities.  If I plant the seed, he will make it grow and that's what I'm going by.

FACEBOOK LIKE BUTTON TO YOUR WEBSITE

You need to have a little HTML experience in order to understand this:

Facebook makes it fairly easy for you because they give you the codes to everything you will need.

Facebook gives you the code.  all you have to do is copy your blogger url (make sure it's not the preview mode) and paste it in to the code generator, then click on GET CODE

Copy the code... here's where you need to be careful.  Edit the post, click on HTML  and you will see a bunch of chinese... that's called HTML Code.  I would just paste it either at the very top or the very bottom of  your page.  (top is better).  whala!  You will have to do this for every single page you create because when someone likes it, a preview of your page will pop and that is saying that they like that particular blog post.

I finally figured this one out!  It's really easy to generate a QR code for your business website in order for the anyone to scan directly from their phone and jump on your website!

I recommend you use a website that has the capabilities to automatically format your website information to fit the Android and Apple phone screens automatically.  This just means it will actually look good from your phone and load fairly quickly.

Okay so I jumped on youtube and found a 14yr old boy showed me how (I feel so old)

I'm sure there are several ways to do this but one of them that's quick is to download the Android app called My QR Code Generator.

 click here to follow the link to the website.  This will show you what to do.  it's basically two easy steps... just type in the url, select URL from the drop down menu and hit Generate code and you can e-mail it to yourself.  Just copy and paste that little black barcode anywhere and it will take you to an amazing journey of websites.  You can add these bar codes to your e-mail signature to impress people.  (I impressed myself with this magic tool so I'm just assuming others will be impressed)

SOCIAL MEDIA

I decided to venture out and learn about every single social media component there was out there.  Listed below are the explanations (or at least what I understand from them) for each different website and the uses and advantages for your business.  

This is MY version of this.  I’m just calling it how I see it...



FACEBOOK: Obviously this website is a must if you want to stay in touch with your consumers.  Facebook can be complicated because it’s a bit detailed if you don’t understand it.  

So at first, Facebook had friends.  It was easy!  All you had to do was click on Add as Friend and wait for them to accept you and you were done.  Now, Facebook has decided to complicate things by limiting you.  ...either you were a fan or you were a friend.  The fan page was kind of like the LIKE page and then all of a sudden, that disappeared... so now, it’s the Like part... I’m sure this threw people off and let me tell you how.  I have two examples of how two different pages got screwed up the unfair way.  

• I was working for an adult contemporary radio station.  We started with the Friends’ page (which limited us to 5,000 friends) and then we created a Fan page, trying to reach those friends that we couldn’t add anymore once we reached the 5,000 capacity.  Note: it WAS apparent that we needed a fan page however we didn’t want to ignore the friend requests we were getting from our listeners so we had both.  A while later, Facebook changed the fan pages to Like Us pages and it changed the dynamics a bit on our page.  After all this confusion, we finally got it and all of a sudden they shut our Facebook page down because of some complaints.  I’m still not sure why there were complaints.  The station wasn’t raunchy or didn’t have any obscene content.  so KLOL-FM had to start ALL over gathering fans and changing up their Facebook.  We tried calling Facebook and writing them but automated e-mails were returned and nobody ever got back to us.  I’m pretty darn sure that this problem happened across other companies who had high response.  I just wish I would have known what to look out for.  Overall, Facebook isn’t complicated IF you actually understand what you’re doing.  

Let’s address a smaller scale issue:

• So my sister started up her business and she had a personal page and decided to create a page on her Facebook for her friend’s to “Like” well she had no clue what she was doing and somehow created three different like pages... you can imagine how frustrating it is to go in to her page and see three different pages when you search her business.  What’s worse is that the good page she actually created has the wrong spelling of her business name (has a q at the end) so she can’t use that page or edit the spelling of the actual name.  We tried and unfortunately it’s set in stone.  

HOW TO START YOUR FACEBOOK PAGE: 

You have two options here.  You can have a Social Media Guru start the page for you.  (I can help you with this for an affordable fee)

or

You can follow these instructions on how to start it up the right way so you don't screw it up!  

HOW TO CREATE A FACEBOOK LIKE PAGE FOR YOUR COMPANY:

When you're creating an entire new page, be sure to look at the very botom of the Login and/or Registry page, Facebook.com. click on the link, Create a Page for a celebrity, band or business. Click on whatever is right for your page, such as Local Business.  

PAGE NAME is super important that you're spelling everything correctly.  Type in your business Page Name: Then click on Create Official Page.  

Create a Facebook Account

You do NOT have to create a Facebook account if you just want a fan page (or a Like page). I don't recommend it because when you have two different pages, it's just a little confusing to go back & forth between the two pages.  fill out the rest of the info. Email and Password to register.  

Fill out the rest, add your e-mail and you will get an e-mail confirmation and you're good to go!

My Very 1st Blog... My Story

Okay so I think I know the purpose of a blog but I won't know until I just dive in to it and share with my friends!  Here we go!  So my purpose of this blog today is to share my story with you and what's going on in my current situation.  I could go on and on about myself (because soooo extremely vain) but I'll give you the nutshell version:


2000:  Got a great job working for Clear Channel Radio for KTBZ-FM

2009:  Clear Channel Radio went private and the new owners decided to sell two of the stations.  I fell under the KLOL roster so I was one of the unfortunate to have to move to CBS Radio, the company who bought both radio stations, KLOL and KHMX.


2011: I quit CBS Radio because I couldn't take the dirty kitchens, poor attitudes and lack of training for all their archaic systems in place and the fact that they owe me $7,000 for a corporate charge on my American Express Corporate card (long story, but I did everything right, turned my expenses in on time and am still waiting on my card to clear) and let's not forget the fact they as we speak they are ruining my perfectly good credit since it still has not been paid.

THE PRESENT:  Now, I'm a distributor for HCG Total Fat Loss which is my sisters company.  She has the product manufactured in an FDA approved facility.  She just got a full time job making great money so she has somewhat backed off on the business and needs some help.

Paulette, my sister's colleague lost over 100lbs so she was basically a walking billboard in front of all her friends and family so she made a lot of money because of the fact she lost so much weight and changed within a matter of months.

THE PRODUCT: HCG has changed peoples lives.  I've seen it first hand!  Within one week, you can lose 1 to 2lbs per day and actually keep the weight off.  I did the diet myself (after some of my friends' critiqued me for doing the diet since in their eyes I didn't need to lose weight but hey, we ALL own mirrors don't we?)  I reached my goal weight within just one week.  I actually had more energy and felt way healthier than before.  The best part of this diet is that there's a set point.  You know when you weigh yourself every day and sometimes you're either 2lbs heavier or 2lbs lighter but it always goes back to your original weight?  The weight that you would probably put down on your doctors' patient information form.  Well this diet changes that set point to a lower one!

So the product is worth the money and I want to spread the word but how do I do that and keep people informed and catch their attention in front of so many other companies out there?
